Security Operations Analyst

We are looking for a Security Operations Analyst to support the day-to-day protection of our clients. You will monitor for suspicious activity, investigate alerts, and help clients respond and recover when an incident happens.

What you will do

• Monitor security alerts and logs from client email, identity and device platforms.
• Investigate suspicious activity, decide what is real, and record what you find.
• Help clients contain and recover from incidents such as phishing and account compromise.
• Check backups, patching and access settings on a regular schedule.
• Test defences where a client has agreed to it, and report results clearly.
• Write short incident summaries and lessons learned.

What you bring

• A qualification in IT, computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• An understanding of how attacks such as phishing, malware and credential theft work.
• Experience with logs, alerts and basic investigation, in a job, a lab or study.
• Calm, methodical work under pressure.
• Clear written English and honest reporting.

Good to have

• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel or a similar tool.
• Knowledge of penetration testing methods and tools, in a lab or professional setting.
• A certification such as Security+, CySA+, SC-200 or similar.
